Khan academy calculus 27/24/2023 I have always branded myself as "bad for maths" ever since I was young and have been more interested in other subjects, but I want to prove myself wrong, and atleast catch up to the same level as all my classmates, as well as learning the only subject I dislike, just for the love I have for knowledge.Īnyways, would just taking the courses of Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 in Khan Academy help me with my goal? Or are there other places? What about IXL? I see both people recommending and not recommending Khan Academy which has made me confused. Introduction to differential calculus Derivative as slope of tangent line Derivative as instantaneous rate of change Secant lines Derivative as a limit Formal definition of derivative Using the formal definition of derivative Differentiability Derivative as a function Review: Derivative basics Basic differentiation. Not really for the sake of school, but just to prove myself that I'm not dumb. I however, would like to catch up on my math. My math knowledge is pretty bad, and I'd say that don't really know anything except for extremely basic Algebra 1 equations. All of my classmates (and I'm pretty sure even my teacher) thinks I am dumb at maths, and since I've always struggled with them and math has never been my interest, I just kind of accepted it as a truth. Now I'm in Algebra 2 and I'm doing pretty bad at maths last year I failed my second semester of Geometry and now I'm taking it at the same time I'm taking Algebra 2 and Physics. I have never really being good at maths, but somehow I got a really good grade on a placement test when I was in 8th grade, and was put into Algebra 1 instead of 8th grade math. It might sound like a simple question, but I have found so much contradictory information on it.įor context, I'm a 10th grader in highschool and currently taking Algebra 2 and Geometry.
